FlowShare Feature Requests & Ideas

It would be great to have the option of changing the default strings ("Click", "Visit" etc.) That way we could translate these strings in the Settings instead of changing them on every step of the Flow, one by one. It wouldn't require any translation from your side as every user would do this himself.

Currently the screenshots all show on the left panel. Would be nice to have the option to display all screenshots in a canvas view (with the ability to change thumbnail size) so we can more easily reorganize and/or delete screenshots. The thumbnail on the left side is too limiting (i.e. number of images shown) and most often the thumbnail is not large enough to see so it is necessary to click to enlarge it (a time consuming process if you have a large flow to manage).

Blur feature is quite difficult to use for large spaces, it needs the ability to zoom out to get a larger area

Please make this an Adobe Captivate alternative with video export :-)

Sometimes I need to move a step from one flow to another to finish the document.

Its tedious to move steps one by one inside a flow. It would be easier to select several at once.

Many customers in the eLearning space asked for an interactive export that does not show where to click. This template lets learners practice a process on their own in an interactive simulation, without visual hints or guidance. Users can test their knowledge and see whether they can complete the procedure successfully in a realistic, unguided demo format. This template shall be included as HTML, SCORM and xAPI format.

This idea sums up several feature requests and enhancements within the sidebar of FlowShare when editing: Duplicate Slides, Copy and paste Slides within the same flowSelect multiple Slides at once (to move or delete them)

This feature allows customers to use their own DeepL API key for translating FlowShare content. By connecting an existing DeepL license, customers can manage translation costs themselves while continuing to translate all guides and content directly within FlowShare. The API key can be added, tested, and saved in the FlowShare language settings, after which all translations run through the customer’s own DeepL account.

Some users already know exactly how each step should be explained and prefer to speak their own descriptions instead of using AI-generated text. This feature allows users to record their voice after capturing a process and automatically convert that speech into written step descriptions. It provides a fast, reliable alternative to text generation, especially for users who want full control over wording or experience issues with automated text creation.

Flowshare gives an error saying that it lacks permission to save a file if the filename contains accentuated caracters. For example "éàù" etc. This is especially problematic when AI document titles generated in languages such as french are automatically used as the filename suggestion when saving. It would be interesting to either strip the accents to save the filename circumventing the bug (most users speaking languages with accents are accustomed to a similar behaviour anyway since some system just don't support it), to clarify the file saving error, or to solve this bug to allow accentuated caracters to be saved just like windows Allow

To simplify editing and ensure better readability when exporting, it would be very helpful if you could change the size of the labelling of the frame.

I can blur something, but once i did it i have no way of reverse it. That should be a feature
